A visit to Jeonju Province

Korean traditional beer brewing process
This is where we started our trip

then visited a very famous Roman church

And it so happens that on the same day there was a wedding going on....

THEN HEADED FOR  MEAL TIME
{my favorite part}

종로회관

that was lunch then we headed for dinner

I feel sorry for the dishwasher that has to wash all these.  However, they were all pretty clean by the time we were finished with them.  Yummy!

This is what happens when two different people are taken your picture at once.
고추장 making....kochujang

Korea' s Ice Gallery {아이스 갤러리}

Summer in Korea as it is known is Hot. Humid ,Stuffy and tiring, but it can also be interesting and fun when you find the right thing to do to cool off the heat.  Well apart from the normal rafting,bungee jumping, zip lining, kayaking and all the rest. We found one thing that is very much on the cheap side, is fun and does not take a long bus ride to get to ,.,..

The Seoul Ice gallery .  It takes about 15 minutes to tour. At the entrance you get heavy winter jackets as the place is maintained under very low temperatures. it feels like winter in there.

The gallery have curved ice into household items and more stuff. On the first floor you get to do the carving by yourself. Mostly interesting to the children.
On the basement that is where you take the small trip to the cold Greenland.

A fridge with everything you would wish for, veggies, drinks food  and a vodka!!

Important household tool.

This was during the London Olympic. am sure they will change that come next summer to something new!!
An Ice bar...Way to go!!!!

Super Junior and  the Big Bang could not be forgotten..
It is K-POP TIME!!!

There was so much going on there.  Apart  from what I have posted above there are so many sculptures  that portray Korean beauty like the Sungremun, Ojakgyo, Bukchon Hanok Village, Dabotap and more and it is so much fun to freeze during summer. It is refreshing and makes one forget for a 15 minutes about the heat and the humidity.

It is a place worth trying during summer in Korea for only 7KRW

You can read more from their website http://www.icegallery.co.kr/html/index.php

Peace and Love,
