places I visited in Kuala Lumpur {Malaysia}

This winter vacation I visited Malaysia for 12 days. I would like to share the places i visited before I actually fulfill the promise of telling you of some places to visit for Korean food delicacies^*^

KUALA LUMPUR

{a}  Batu Caves
The Batu caves are very popular  they are a home for the ancient Hindu  temple and attracts lots of people and that is why it was the first place I visited.
It is in the sate of Selangor that is on the outskirts of the KL city.
It has 272-staircases leading up to the cave. Inside the cave depending on which time of the year you visit they have some Hindu cultural celebrations,

{b} Forest Research Institute of Malaysia {FRIM}
This is the second place I visited.
It is one of the largest man made forests in the world and the only reason I went there is not
because of the Trees but I wanted to walk through the canopy walk. Which I swear I would
not have left Malaysia without visiting! As fearful as it seemed it was a thrilling experience.
The canopy walk is suspended 30 meters above ground level.

{c}China Town {PETALING STREET}
splendid!!with shops and restaurants and hawker stalls.
Me and Bradley spent  two nights there having local food and drinks it was  crowded cos many foreigners flock there to have drinks and also watch some traditional performances that take place there again depending on what time of the year you go! This time they had performances going on due to the Chinese lunar year ^*^

{d} Petronas Towers

Great areas for shopping!!It has everything in it from departmental stores to restaurants and everything!

{e}The central Market{ MARKET SQUARE}
   It is a leading crafts center in KL
Its a very nice place to shop for souvenirs.
For foreigners here at the Central Market they can get maps and help on  information about Malaysia and places to visit too.

{f} Little India @ Brickfields
Little India is a very nice place  decorated with fountains and beautiful landmarks. It also has stalls just like china Town selling souvenirs and accessories. Has lots of Indian restaurants too.

{g} KL Tower
Its a very distinctive landmark that is similar to the Korean Namsan tower It stands at a height of 421 meters.
It is the world's seventh tallest.

There are so many more places to visit in Kuala Lumpur. There are galleries and museums and there are also many cultural celebrations all round the year.
Water parks, sports and recreation places to visit.
It was a great trip for me and Bradley and we had a great time...

see you on the next blog as I  take you to the other places I visited in Malaysia. ^*^ <3
